Terms of Use
These terms explain how you may use Professional Privacy Almanac. The site provides editorial research and practical privacy education, not legal advice, security consulting, or platform-specific representation.
Use of Research
You may read, cite, and share the Almanac for personal, educational, newsroom, workplace, or nonprofit research purposes. When quoting, include the page title and publication name.
No Professional Advice
Privacy law and employment risk vary by country, employer, role, and circumstance. Our field notes are educational analysis. Speak with a qualified lawyer or security professional for advice about a specific dispute, investigation, or regulated environment.
Corrections
We welcome corrections and platform updates. Submitting a correction gives us permission to evaluate, summarize, and publish the corrected information. We will not identify a source unless that source gives explicit written permission.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use the forms to submit malware, spam, unlawful instructions, or personal data about another person without a legitimate reason.
- Do not misrepresent affiliation with a platform, employer, regulator, or the Almanac.
- Do not scrape the site in a way that disrupts availability or bypasses reasonable technical controls.
External Platforms
LinkedIn, Blind, Xing, and Peerlist are independent services with their own terms and policies. The Almanac is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.
Availability and Changes
The site is provided as available. We may revise pages, scores, policies, and these terms when practices change or errors are found. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
